IHE USA Monitors Gain Real-World IHE Experience!
IHE USA is looking for volunteers to serve as Monitors for verify tests at the IHE North American Connectathon 2016. Monitors are industry professionals that use their skills and expertise to review and evaluate interoperability tests conducted by over 100+ participating organizations. As a monitor, you will gain exposure to the latest standards, cutting-edge technology, and the engineers that make it all possible. Our unique, practical learning environment provides the experience you need to grow professionally.
What is an IHE Connectathon?
Developers of health IT systems and standards experts gather each year to take part in the world’s largest interoperability testing event. The IHE North American Connectathon is 5 days of cross-vendor, live, supervised and structured testing where vendors test implementations of IHE Profiles and other world-class standards. Work directly with 550+ software engineers from the industry's top vendors
Gain deeper understanding about IHE Integration Profiles and test tools
Benefit from hands-on experience and training with emerging technologies
Learn through meaningful collaboration with vendors, government organizations, and HIEs
Receive travel, accommodations, and a per diem for participation (Note: IHE USA will not support international travel outside the U.S. and Canada)
General Requirements of Participation
Volunteer for the full week
O Monday, January 25 – Friday, January 29, 2016
Monitors may NOT be employed by a participating vendor, nor be under contract to provide consulting or any other services to a participating vendor
Applicants must have appropriate technical background in one of the healthcare IT areas listed:
O IT Infrastructure
O Clinical Documents (HL7, CDA)
O Radiology and/or Cardiology departmental workflow
O Laboratory and/or Pharmacy
O Patient Care Devices
O Patient Care Coordination & Quality, Research, and Public Health
