Healthcare supply chains are not exempt from the many cybersecurity risks and threats to patient privacy and personal health information. Given the increasing connectedness of various forms of medical devices and equipment, operational technologies, as well as potential points of vulnerability across the continuum of the healthcare value chain, it is vital that supply chain leaders be aware of potential threats as it pertains to outside partners or providers with access to mission critical and non-mission critical systems that may or may not be within the purview of the chief supply chain officer.

This “Ask the Expert” session on Cyber Hygiene will address these issues. Additionally, it will discuss the essentials of cybersecurity and help participants understand the anatomy of a security breach and how to take practical steps that could potentially reduce breaches in their organizations. The speaker will discuss risks posed by black market and gray market products and provide guidance for supply chain and procurement professionals. If you want to have a practical and understandable discussion of one of the most pressing issues today, join this session!
